LIMITLESS

British Cycling introduced the Limitless program in February 2023 to promote inclusive cycling, making the sport more accessible for people with disabilities or impairments. Stockton Wheelers is proud to be a Limitless Focus Club and now offers regular inclusive cycling sessions, welcoming riders of all ages who may need supervision or assistance. Our club has proudly competed in Para Series racing events and regularly participates in club runs on tandems.

Our Inclusive Sessions

We host two types of Limitless sessions:

  • Tandem Sessions: Specifically for visually impaired riders, using tandem bikes.

  • Inclusive Sessions: Designed for riders with various disabilities, using tricycles, hand cycles, and recumbents.

Sessions run every other Saturday from 1:00 to 3:30 pm at Middlesbrough Sports Village (TS4 3AE). Both sessions are held twice per month and advertised by email and on SWCC Facebook page.

The Venue and Support

Both sessions take place on a smooth, traffic-free 1 km circuit, fully enclosed for safety, creating a secure and welcoming environment. Our sessions are supported by experienced, DBS-certified volunteers, ensuring quality assistance.

Through these Limitless sessions, participants can enjoy exercise, develop new skills, improve well-being, and, for those interested, even explore paracycling as a sport. We look forward to welcoming new faces and embarking on this exciting journey together.
